Brianna is an Australian Art Director and Production Designer with a background in fine furniture designing/making.

Originally from a small mining town in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Brianna’s creative ambition inspired her to move to the the city to pursue her classical ballet studies, and later furniture design.

​

In 2010 Brianna won several awards that secured her position amongst some of Australia’s leading creatives in a collaborative furniture/product design workshop called the Midland Atelier.

​

In 2015 Brianna moved to Sydney where she built sets, props and managed crews in the theatre industry.

​

Brianna began to formalise her study of Design for Performance at NIDA in 2016. During this time she assisted in the Art Department of Bruce Beresford’s feature film Ladies In Black and won a William Fletcher Foundation Grant that allowed her to travel to London to intern in both Art Departments of The Personal History of David Copperfield, and the second season of Amazon Studios’ Britannia. This kickstarted Brianna's passion for the design of film.

Brianna's professional credits include set and costume design for Wake In Fright (winning APDG award for Emerging Designer- Live Performance). costume design for The End, The Beginning (nominated APDG award best Costume Design - music video/short film) , production design for And Don't Forget to Subscribe (TV pilot) and set designer for the sold out season of the Cripple of Inishmaan at the Old Fitz Theatre.

Between 2019 and 2020 Brianna designed furniture for the sets of the MARVEL's Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings until relocating her practice to Malmö, Sweden. There her credits include draftsperson for Den Norske Opera & Ballett's Jenufa, Assistant Art Director for Netflix's Clark, and Art Director of Lasse Hallström's Hilma af Klint. Art Director responsible for the set design of Ronja Rövardotter and draftsperson for Helikopterrånet.

In 2023 Brianna once again returned to study; this time the Art Director training under the expert guidance of Terry Ackland-Snow of Film Design International at Pinewood Studios, London.
